Ever since I volunteered at Guilderland High School where I helped children with homework, I love teaching and being around with children. For writing, usually I conduct some exercises. The level of the critique and what to say depends heavily on the age of the student. For grammar, I would either find or create my own practice materials and we could go over whatever is necessary until I've decided that the student is making improvements or the student has succeeded.
Over the past year, I have tried to extend my ability to share my love and appreciation of English and literature with others. I am very patient. I enjoy helping people learn that want to be there. I will draw out diagrams and show the same topic 10 different ways if needed. That being said i don't just give them the answer to the problem, but will guide the person to the solution.
I have earned my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. I love computers and programming as well as web design. I was even a Teacher Assistant for a Data Structures class at my university (CSI 310) in which i helped students with homework and programming assignments. In this role i helped students learn concepts such as linked lists, tree structures, recursive thinking as well as other types of data structures.
