I prefer a hands-on approach when possible. I lik to help the children relate to what they are learning in order to help them remember it.
I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind. I have spent a few semesters as a tutor and volunteer assistant in a local elementary school. Writing Skills is one of my top subjects! Although I am not especially trained to teach writing. I have been writing for a large portion of my life and I graduated high school taking all honors English classes. I have also taken College English and am currently enrolled in a college creative writing class at Stanly Community college. I have written many stories, poems and songs and writing just comes naturally to me. I would love to help anyone find joy in writing as well as success.

My experience is more from life than anything. I graduated from high school in 2011,and I chose to go from there to Argentina where I learned Spanish as a second language as well as studied the bible in a college setting in Spanish. I do not have my certification to translate or interpret however, I have been on a number of missions trips throughout Argentina, as well as in Peru during which I was the only form of translation, or interpretation. I have learned through experience in life. I was not taught In an American classroom, but in another country where I had to use what I learned every single day. A Little Bit About Me...

I have approximately one year of experience of professional teaching working with a grant funded program at UNCP. With this program was very hands-on and interactive with the students. I worked directly with the professors in the science department.
As a UNCP alumnus, I currently hold a BS in Biology. I have tutored peers in the past during my second year at UNCP. Subjects that I am familiar are science and math.
