I have completed all College level Math classes for an Electical Engineering degree. Math is my area of expertise. I tried to help the students to the best of my ability and in a way conducive to learning. At a major university, biology and engineering students, let alone chemist need to take general and organic chemistry. So it is required to tailor how I tutor to what they needed. In some case it was a guide through problems because they knew the basic information and could not correlate from one step to the next. Other cases would be where giving examples and working through problems in a non-math related way.
