I love working with all kinds of children. As a third grade teacher I loved having: inclusion students, ELL children, Tit. I kids, and ELP children, all in one room. I encouraged many different teachers to work with me in my classroom. I enjoy meeting the needs of the full continuum of learners through the use of lots of movement, working with partners, and working in small groups. I use lots of praise, and consistent consequences for my management system. I love teaching.
I have taught special needs for 25 years, and third grade for nine years. Education, youth and adult continuing education are great passions of mine. I believe that every student has the capacity to learn and has room for improvement. I throughly enjoy learning each student's individual personality and strive to find ways to make material approachable, relevant and practical.
