According to me teaching is the process of imparting knowledge or skills. It’s about not only motivating students to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, and memorable. I believe that knowledge should not be imparted to students in a way that is stressful. Rather students should be helped to understand the world from their own phenomenological vantage points and day to day experience. When working with young children (grades k-6), I try and make learning as fun and relaxing as possible. Young children also need a lot of attention to ensure they remain focused on the task at hand.
