I began tutoring groups of students as an exchange student in Austria, in 2012, working with 5th through 10th grade students in English at the BRG Koeflach (the local high school) where I was compensated as an official English tutor. I have a total of 10 years active research experience in medical biological and basic biological research. I earned my PhD at the Institute for Pathology in Basel for medical biological research. Then I had postdoctoral appointments at Tulane University and Baylor College of Medicine. I student centered. I believe you have to know how the student learns and tailor the work to interest them and relate the material to real world scenarios. The student needs to be engaged to be able to reach their full potential.
