Taught to every age! I was in Europe for 9 years and opened my own American English School. Taught every level from pre-school to Engineers. Also translated and wrote policies and procedures for the European Union REACH program. Taught 3d and 4th grade in Germany. One example: taught English to German elemantary students using the game of baseball to learn new words. My oldest student was 79 years young! The youngest was 4.
Motivation is first. Find out what students skills are and add what they like to encourage learning. Games are always good to encourage all ages to learn. Repetition! Once their grades improve their self confidence will too. Lots of heart and patience!

My teaching style is based on the student's need. Not everyone learns the same way. It is my goal to find out where the student is at and meet him or her at their level.
I have 8.5 years teaching experience with an outstanding PDAS record. I have recently relocated to the area and would like to provide services to those who are in need. A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience tutoring former classmates and some clients. I find that because of class sizes and lack of time, some students are not getting the proper instruction needed to succeed. The way public schools are set up they focus on excelency on state tests, and don't build up on needed stepping stones for the next years levels.
