I enjoy teaching. I am patient with students and believe each has their own way of learning best. I encourage asking questions of the lesson. I feel like tutoring is helpful to the student for the careful attention to developing their personal learning style. This creates a supportive atmosphere.
As a student of the life sciences, I have gained a foundation of knowledge which consists of chemistry, physics, and biology. I entered college to earn a degree in Art Education. Like many students I changed majors and ultimately received a BA of Psychology in 1997. While attending Emmanuel College, I was employed in their Office of Admissions. I learned valuable training and was recognized as an outstanding Admissions Counselor. These skills allowed me the opportunity to train, teach and tutor prospective Admissions counselors (approximately high school age).
