I am a special education teacher with 6 credit hours to go until I have earned my Master in Adaptive Special Education. I student taught 5th grade, was a middle school special education para for the remainder of that school year once I earned my Bachelor's then transitioned into 2-4th grade adaptive Math, and all Language Arts. I enjoy using visuals and technology to reach students, keep them engaged, motivated, and enrich their learning. I was an middle and high school substitute teacher. I ran an after school program where we helped middle school and high school students with their home work, and I went to different middle schools and taught social studies, and homework skills. I have created my own lesson plans and curriculum and I am able to take an assessment of students reading level.
