Reading is one of my top subjects!

I tutored kids who were lagging behind the rest of the class at school as well as advanced language learners and helped them get ready for regional language contests. One of my achievements I believe is my excellent work with high school seniors to prepare for centralized testing. But the experience I value most is when my students who were performing about average gradually integrated into the rest of the class. Once families became comfortable with me, I started getting requests to tutor other students that were having difficulty getting what they need out of the classroom.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my undergraduate, I had multiple field studies in middle and high school classes. I also had to tutor elementary students through my college for certain reading classes. My comments on tutoring Reading : Is my best subject and I teach it phonetically. I believe that sounding out the words is the easiest way for comprehension. Certain rules must be applied though for words that sound the same.
