I am focused on academic success, and I am able to provide instruction in not only the theoretical aspects of the sciences, but also practical real-world applications, to help enhance the student's understanding and interest. I am a MIT graduate, with advanced degrees in Chemistry. I have taught at the College level, and have been a Corporate instructor in all aspects of the applied sciences. As an undergraduate I worked for the university learning center and the educational opportunity program. I tutored students in various subjects including: introductory physics, calculus 1, calculus 2, calculus 3, and freshman level English. I was also a tutor for Newark public schools. Post graduation I have performed some private mathematics tutoring for high school students that attend my place of worship. My other work experience includes patent examination of medical devices, prosthetics, implants, mechanical engineering devices. From the beginning we must let the students know what expectations we have so that they can prepare themselves for the upcoming tasks at hand.
