My comments on tutoring Writing : I am certified teacher at the Master's level with certifications for early childhood, elementary, special education, ESL and reading specialist. I am trained in Orton Gillingham and the Wilson program.

I use a multi-sensory approach when teaching to meet the student's needs. I also incorporate lots of games and personal experience to make it fun and engaging.

Throughout high school and college I helped numerous classmates develop efficient ways of studying as well as providing assistance to learning and understanding the given material. During high school I mainly tutored my neighbor's young children in elementary subjects. In college I helped fellow classmates in my major and minor. The most challenging tutoring experience I had was when my own brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and he was taken out of school for months at a time. Writing is one of my top subjects! As a graduate creative writing major, I know at least the basic tenets of writing. Writing is the act of carefully considering one's words, only on paper and with the advantage of having time to pick them out compared to speaking. Grammar, logical sentences, and communicating ideas efficiently are what I can help you learn, with emphasis on how you can do so with modern technologies.
