I began teaching in 2011 as a tutor at a local tutoring facility. I quickly realized that I had a gift for teaching and a passion for doing so. I continued to tutor at this facility for 3 years. My schedule remained full as I was in high demand once word got out that there was a good math tutor. I decided to leave the tutoring facility in order to pursue my artistic passions through music. Shortly after leaving, though, I got some phone calls from the parents of previous students asking if I would still teach their children. After some thought, I obliged and began tutoring privately. Math is one of my top subjects! This includes all general grade levels

I try to show the easiest way possible to solve the problems.
I did maintain a B or higher in all these classes. I also have three children of my own that I help understand the concepts of math. While in college I tutored an older lady with college algebra so that she would not have to take over and she came out of the class with an A. I also tutored two other children who had low grades and ending up passing with flying colors.

A Little Bit About Me...

I easily earned two Associates degrees, prior to earning my Bachelors degree, graduating Cum Laude. I excelled in Mathematics as well, and enjoy tutoring it as well. My English 101 and 102 professor encouraged me to major in English as well, but I was so involved in science classes for physical education, I opted not to add the other major. I was the president of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and a member of the USA-Today All Academic Team.
