I have been an AB student my whole life, and I was in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in high school. I consistently help my siblings with their homework (ages 5, 13, and 16), and have worked with after-school tutoring programs with friends. I tutor best with elementary/middle schoolers in math and English/reading/writing, but can help with any subject the student needs.

I'm here to help!

I have a relaxed, stress-free teaching style, while staying on task and topic. I make sure the pupils really understand the material by breaking things down to the basics, and reviewing the foundations. After reviewing and application of the concepts, I have my students switch roles and "teach" me the material. I believe if you can explain the material to someone else, you really understand it.
I double-majored in biology in chemistry in undergrad, so the field of science and medicine is my first love and my strength. Teaching to me is a vocation and not just a job. I enjoy helping children achieve their peek potential in the subject matter at hand. I believe that anyone can learn any subject if you give them the proper tools. Setting goals and meeting them is only part of the battle, Knowing what when wrong and how to fix it is the other half.
