I try to find an area of interest in the student and then show how learning the material we are discussing relates to that interest. I love to teach and develop new teaching styles. I believe that everyone can learn as long as someone is able to meet their needs. I remember what it was like being clueless in the classroom, and I use my experience in teaching myself how to learn in tutoring my students.
Before attending college I worked at an after-school program in Boston that served k-5 students. This program focused heavily on homework completion and educational activities.
