IMPROVE READING AND WRITING SCORES IN CLASS AND ON THE ACT.

I have been an AP Literature and Composition teacher as well as Twelfth grade Language Arts instructor for over 16 years. I am acutely aware of the needs of students as it relates to mastering reading and writing skills. I have also taught an ACT Prep course for the past 5 years after extensive training at workshops and conferences. I know the importance of identifying weaknesses in reading, writing, and on standardized tests such as the ACT and directing my instruction to those weaknesses. I stopped working in the hospitals when my oldest child reached the age of 5, so that I could teach my children at home. The four of them are now grown and successful. I employed many techniques during my time homeschooling them, as between them were exhibited several learning styles. It was a delightful experience.
