Hello. I have been teaching for 23 years and tutoring in Spanish and other subjects for more than 10 years. I have worked both in private and public schools, and I am currently a public high school Spanish and ACT English and Reading teacher. IMPROVE READING AND WRITING SCORES IN CLASS AND ON THE ACT.

I have been an AP Literature and Composition teacher as well as Twelfth grade Language Arts instructor for over 16 years. I am acutely aware of the needs of students as it relates to mastering reading and writing skills. I have also taught an ACT Prep course for the past 5 years after extensive training at workshops and conferences. I know the importance of identifying weaknesses in reading, writing, and on standardized tests such as the ACT and directing my instruction to those weaknesses. I am especially skilled at targeting writing weaknesses as it relates to both rhetoric and mechanics as I am a practicing writer myself. Though reading ability is gained with much practice, there are practice methods to increase speed and cognition.
