Geometry is one of my top subjects! Geometry came very easily to me. People would say it's really hard and I found find ways to explain it to them. Geometry is easy once you see the bigger picture.

Although, I'm still a high school student, I've helped many students in my class with understanding what they were taught. I've been told by a lot of my friends that I should become a teacher. I love teaching, and if it had a higher salary pay, that would be my career choice. I've been helping kids with math before I realized that I was helping them. I love it when they understand it and their face just lights up.
I like to take what they know, help them understand it a little more, then apply it. I walk them through different questions they encounter and then watch them try it for themselves. If they make a mistake, I help them understand what went wrong and how to fix it. I am very hands on and I like to reward them with encouraging comments.

A Little Bit About Me...

Hello, I'm a senior at Canyon High and a valedictorian of my class of 2013. I have taken over 10 AP tests (with scores of 4 or 5 on all of them) and succeeded in getting 2340 on the SAT. As you can see, I am a hard worker with a purpose in my mind. Some people may argue that good grades do not necessarily predict great tutoring skills. But no worries.
