A Little Bit About Me...

I completed my bachelor degree in English in three and a half years at Bucknell University, and this has trained me in writing, literary analysis, and oral communication. While at Bucknell, I spent four months tutoring children at a local elementary school in grades 3-5 in math, science, and reading. I, also, completed Bucknell’s Writing Center four month training course for tutoring in all types of writing. I spent a full year tutoring peers, underclassmen, and even graduate students in their writing process. Finally, for the last three years, I have taught techniques of interpreting the Bible to college and high school students at my local church in both group and one-on-one settings.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began my college career at Columbia University, N.Y. where I matriculated in the top 5% of entrants. I moved to Africa where I lived and returned 10 years later. I joined the United Nations where I worked at headquarters New York and later as a field officer in the Middle East and South Africa. Part of my assignment during my stay in the Middle East was to teach the local staff English. As a member of the diplomatic corps to Namibia, Southwest Africa, my task was to draft the preliminary paper to be presented at the General Assembly in respect of the independence of that country. I returned to the U.S. and worked as executive assistant to Bradford Morse, the Administrator of the United Nations Development program.
