A Little Bit About Me...

I am particularly enthusiastic about teaching mathematics to all students, and my record documents this fact. As an undergraduate I studied education, and acquired a secondary education license while pursuing a rigorous mathematics curriculum. At Dartmouth I have devoted myself to helping my students learn the power and utility of mathematics. I strive to help students learn how mathematics is a relevant, useful and even enjoyable part of their lives as they become contributing members of society. I take pride in developing strong relationships with my students, and I am strongly opposed to the “myth of ability” in mathematics.
