A Little Bit About Me...

At Adult Basic and Literature Education, I serve as a math and grammar tutor in the GED and ESOL programs. Also, I assist the students on how to obtain basic computer techniques so that they can operate the computer. I am able to communicate with Spanish-speaking students and read French. As for my technical, web designing, and software knowledge, I have a background in computer troubleshooting, Adobe Photoshop, HMTL, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etcetera. For five years, I was a substitute teacher for grades K-5 in English as a Second Language, Special Education and Art classes. My comments on tutoring Spanish : Hello! I am a student at The University of Akron. I came to America 2 years ago and I am from Spain! Spanish is my first language and many people asked for help during the past two years and they got really good grades with my help. There's no better way to learn Spanish than talking to me!

I am from Spain and I lived there the past 18 years. I had being tutoring for two years here in Ohio. All my students got really good grades. Moreover, my theory is that you cannot learn a language by reading a book but talking and having a conversation. Since I am an education major, I know how to plan lessons and I can help you with your Spanish very fast.
