I also was a volunteer teacher's aide for the first grade at my school my senior year of high school. I got to work with the children every day of that school year doing many different activities. I went back to college to pursue a career in education. While in college I tutored basic math skills to college students and worked with middle school students under a grant program called GEAR UP.
