I allow my teaching style to mold itself to each individual student, finding methods of communicating the information that best suit the learning style of my student. I have aided many of my friends throughout high school and college with writing, editing and general English knowledge. I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in English after taking courses in various fields on the subject. My comments on tutoring Spelling : I learned to spell use small tricks such as: the word business. I learned to spell it as bus-i-ness. I broke down the words into smaller words to help me learn them for spell test and vocabulary.

My comments on tutoring Spelling : Teaching elementary classes for over 40 years I have spent much time teaching Spelling. I know that students have different learning styles and therefore adapt my teaching style for them.

I have enjoyed very much working with children and I know that every student has his own learning style and my teaching must be adapted to them. I am patient, even with children who do not speak fluent English and I seek to encourage them to seek success. I really like working with children from low income families. I think each child has a different interest and way of learning. I try to discover these learning styles before I begin the tutoring process. I try to allow them to be comfortable and having fun during our sessions. Most of the time I do a lot of question/conversation responses to allow them to find the answer for themselves. I like a problem based learning style, even for the youngest of children.
