Learning is a lifelong process!

My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Currently, I am resigned and staying home, but looking to work part time. I have experience teaching grades 7-12 and working with all types of students. The classes I've taught range from Honors English to a class which targeted students struggling to gain proficiency in English related PSSA skills.

I like to tell people that i did not choose teaching; rather I believe it chose me. I have always worked with children that were struggling whether it was socially or academically. I was typically working with what are known as the "at risk" students. However, I eventually found my way into the classroom as It was noticed that I had a natural ability to balance teaching in the content area and managing behaviors. I have always been intrigued by mathematics especially it’s connection and explanations for various fields of science. By teaching my students the foundations of math I have grown to enjoy and appreciate it even more. I look forward to extending my skills I gained in completing my Masters Degree in Classroom Technology into my 7th and 9th grade classes at Boyertown Junior High West where I have been teaching for three years.
