I am currently a general music teacher at Samsula Academy, an elementary school in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I teach general music classes to students in grades K-5, as well as chorus and band. My comments on tutoring Elementary Grammar : I have specific materials for learning grammar. I include it in writing and presentation instruction.

I have taught full time in public and Catholic schools for 10 years. I taught part time as substitute, long term (months to full semesters or more), tutoring for 16years. While in college I had numerous teaching and tutoring experiences. I participated in the Multicultural Program in college and the American Indian Project. I student taught a full semester on the Hopi/Navajo reservation. I have taught all grades and adults but specialize in K-3 in which I have the most experience. Because my husband and I also had a career in sailing, I taught in several different locations: Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina and Florida.
