I have a passion for teaching and working with students, and I am highly energetic and enthusiastic in the classroom. I make it a priority to help students understand that even if a subject isn't enjoyable to them, it is still rewarding to achieve success with it. I make an effort to adapt to each students learning style, whether visual, kinesthetic, auditory, or something different. By reaching out to the student and engaging with them as an individual, I am able to help them develop and understanding of the content which works best for them. A Little Bit About Me...

As an early childhood teacher, I have had several opportunities to help children (school age), to do homework. I also was a tutor in high school to a boy for just Algebra, which then turned around to being all of his subjects and helping him keep on track. The hardest thing for me was that he had only lived in the U.S. for four years, and had trouble speaking English. After each session of tutoring, I would grab the Scrabble board, which encouraged him to use more words, learn new words, and have fun while doing so.
I like to get to the point of certain problems, such as reading the child/student when I see them, ask them some questions about the subjects they need help in and why they need help. I have worked with Infants-School age for over 5 years, and enjoy being there to help someone in need. I believe in giving back, because so many of us are blessed already.
