A Little Bit About Me...

My Bachelor's degree was in Special education. I became certified in elementary education in Arizona. I taught school( 1 year in high school, 2 years in 1&2 combo, 1 1/2 years in self contained special ed grades 5-8(relocated, 9 years in grade 3, 2 years in grade 4. At this point, I was encouraged to go into administration. I attended Chapman University and received my Master's, continued hours for my principalship. I then taught 2 years in 7th grade. I was assistant principal for 9 years and became a principal for 9 years.I have carefully studied the most up-to-date research, data and presented these to my staffs.

I play guitar and write songs and sing. I have two CD's on CDBaby.com. I also have four books I've written on Amazon so I would like to teach writing and perhaps reading as well. I also play drums and lead drumming circles. I am a motivational speaker and writer, my last book being motivational in nature.I have taught creative writing as an adjunct back East at the junior college level.
