My main goal is to help students develop confidence and competence. I believe every student has his or her own particular gifts, talents, and skills, and it is my duty as an educator to inspire them to utilize their potential. To this end, I strive for subject mastery, critical thinking, and problem-solving. In the end, I expect excellence from my students, but I also deeply value growth. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of Purdue University's School of Liberal Arts, I have been provided with a well-rounded education consisting of a variety of subjects. My degree is in Psychology, with minors in English and Religious Studies. Since graduating from Purdue in 2004, I have worked in social work, child care, and education. Now I focus on tutoring and freelance writing which both allow me to schedule my own time and explore my personal hobbies.
