This program was established to promote and nurture minorities interested in pursuing a career in the sciences and mathematics. I was involved in the program as a fellow. This position required me to mentor a group of younger scholar students. The position required me organize events (such as tours of science industries and resume building session), establish program outline for the school year, lead mentoring sessions, and facilitate study sessions.

I extensively studied two-dimensional art in the areas of Sumi ink painting, watercolor, charcoal drawing, oil and powder pastel rendering, graphite sketching and printmaking; focusing on intaglio, aluminum and stone lithography.
