My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Currently, I am resigned and staying home, but looking to work part time. I have experience teaching grades 7-12 and working with all types of students. My teaching style with students of all ages is to facilitate their learning as opposed to simply feeding them what I feel is the best response. My teaching style is aimed toward getting the student to master the skill for the long term. It is my belief that a lot of teaching is to the state tests; students do not retain skills when that is done, and the concepts for reading and writing, have to be retaught. I teach the student to look for the question being asked, and to answer it fully.
