I achieved my BS in 3.5 years with certifications in Kindergarten and English for secondary education. I have employed multiple skills to teach many disciplines to students. I enjoy teaching and find it very rewarding. I earned my degrees in education from Ball State University. A Little Bit About Me...

To give you some background, I graduated from Purdue University, Fort Wayne with a degree in biology and chemistry. I subsequently accepted a position with the Allen County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. In this position, I routinely inspect restaurants and markets in the Allen County Area. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my current position is the opportunity to utilize my science background and to educate the community on food-safety issues.
It has been a passion of mine to teach. I believe the biology and chemistry coursework necessary for my degree, would be of great benefit. Every child learns in different ways, I will assess what ability level each child learns at; and tutor to each child's needs.

A Little Bit About Me...

My first priority is talking with the student and figuring out what difficulties they are having with the subject. After identifying some problem areas, I help the student understand the material and teach them effective ways for studying the material.
