A Little Bit About Me...
As a mother of two, I understand not only the importance of learning to read but the process involved. Each child has a different learning style and speed, and as a tutor it is important to be agile - teaching to individual needs. I believe in allowing children to learn through discovery, while providing guidance and correction as needed. There is opportunity in the written word, and this is something every child should and can experience.
As a Notre Dame graduate, I have always valued education. Having graduated with two degrees in computer science and psychology, I entered the workforce immediately following college and recently took a leave of absence to spend some time with my children.
