My teaching philosophy is one that is formed based on my drive to inspire and my belief in academic excellence. I am inspired to be one of those teachers that students look back on and remember as someone who has helped them achieve their goals. To me, significant teaching accomplishments come through the achievements of the students. As an educator it is important for me to teach my students how to balance the busy schedule of someone working in the business world, with their desire for education. I believe in practice and examples as the clearest path to success. I don't hand deliver answers and I make the process towards answers engaging. I make sure the time and place are conducive to active and non-distractive learning. I relay the importance and relevance of the material. I recap previous lessons and try to integrate them into current assignments. I always value and respect people and expect the same of my students.
