Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

I have always been interested in teaching. I have taught for a couple of months as a full-time teacher in Franklin County's Middle School. I have been doing part-time voluntary tutoring for the last three years teaching math, physics, chemistry, computers, and foreign language. Teaching has always played a key role in my life. In 1997 I graduated from Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as both a dance major and an Advanced Placement student. During my time at North Carolina State University I gained both teaching and tutoring experience. I spent one semester as the lead lab instructor for a classroom of 30 undergraduates. My duties included teaching students how to implement experimental design methods using statistical software. I also spent a year as a statistical consultant for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Aside from these formal positions I also served as a private tutor.
