Hey! My names Bethy! I'm 13 years old and in 8th grade. I've been tutoring since I was in 5th grade. I can tutor all ages in almost any subject. Last year I had the highest GPA in my whole school! Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects! In college I was part of a program that help struggling readers learn to read. I discovered that teaching a struggling reader how to read is the most rewarding aspect of teaching Elementary Education. So many learning possibilities are unlocked.

In 2001, I received my certification in Elementary Education from CCSU. I then substitute taught for the town of West Hartford for 2 years while I got married and had my son. He had a lot of health problems so the decision was made for me to stay home with him. When it came to Kindergarten he still had many health issues so we thought it was best to keep him home and I began to Homeschool him. Homeschooling has worked well for him and his younger sisters so I have continued even though his health is far better. He is now entering 6th grade. Talent Development Tutoring

Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects! I absolutely love to read when i was in high school i always loved to read out loud in class. If your kid needs help reading and is scares to read out loud because of words they dont know i will be glad to help out with that.

I have plenty that i've been tought so maybe using some of them could help the students understand better.
I am only 19 and i graduated class of 2011. I've had a lot of help when i was in school so i know it can be stressful and tough but i found it a lot easier when i got help from people. Kids may be shy or maybe they just find the work is to hard and there scared to get help but i'm easy and outgoing i don't force kids to do there work.
