Improving the lives of children has always been a passion of mine. While my academic background has had a focus, primarily, in the social work realm, my overall philosophy for working with youth emphasizes patience and education. I then worked in special education for 1 year as an educational technician, where I tutored math, reading, and students with severe disabilities.
