I have taught elementary school for the past six years. I worked in an inclusive classroom where I differentiated for the needs of all students. I particularly love teaching reading, writing, and math. I have run many intervention programs, piloted new curriculum, and served as a literacy coordinator in my school to advance the teaching of reading and writing.

A Little Bit About Me...

After I received my degree in Elementary Education, I was a substitute teacher in IA for one year. I then worked, taught and advised at a small private college in Iowa. I would then sit with them and encouragement them to complete the next problem on their own. If they got stuck I would give assistance, through asking them questions or trying to help them remember the mathematical steps.
