I have been a full time teacher for the past ten years. Currently, I am taking a sabbatical from teaching in order to pursue my education. I am working towards obtaining my Master Degree in the field of Early Childhood Special Education. Additionally, I hold my first Master Degree in K-12 Reading from State University of New York, New Paltz Campus. Finally, I hold my Bachelor of Arts Degree in two areas: Child Psychology and Elementary Education.

A Little Bit About Me...

My passion for teaching is open forum. I meet the students where they are. some are visual, some hands on and some automated. I pace the student and test in areas of weakness. I provide computer advance learning as well as class and peer mentoring. I use all types of devices such as field trips, school resources, library and hands on life experences to get the students more involved. I like the student to process information by coming to the board and classroom prompts to get students involved in the daily lesson.
I have been teaching Adult Learners in the subject area GED Science, Language Arts,Fractions and Testing Subjects Writing for more than 4 years @ The Learning Bank of Coil-Under the Department of Educaiton.
