I love learning to be a student and to teach.

I have taught in both high school the last 7 years and college for 2 years teaching reading and writing. I have taught English in the summers 2007-2010 to International Students. I have taught reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary. I have done prep for the HSPA prior to the test. All the students do three projects and with mp4 movies have been tape recorded and uploaded to my blog. I give them the url http://daylightblogs.org/esltech and mrwhalen and they get to see how they spoke, and conveyed the information. The ESL students are especially adept at art and drawing maps, historical scenes, and 1-2 dimensional projects. My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have been teaching grammar for 30 years at in NYC. I have helped many students from around the world to readily understand the comlexities of the English language. I am patient and understanding.
