As a graduate from a rigorous teacher training program at USF, I learned many skills and techniques to to teach students of all ability levels and ages. I had many opportunities throughout my college career to practice and experience teaching students from large groups to one-on-one settings. I was a recipient of the Michelin Scholarship Grant which allowed me to go to local Title 1 Middle Schools and tutor at-risk students. I was also responsible for watching and tutoring a boy in elementary school for two years. In my internships and practicums, I have had a lot of hands-on experience.

I have 25 years of public school teaching experience as well as teaching in a church setting.I Hold Masters and Bachelors Degree in Music Education.I am also experienced in use of the Internet and educational software. I have taught at all levels k-adult piano, guitar, keyboard, strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. Have also been a church director of music and performed vocal solos with local symphony orchestra.
