Some individuals learn by performing tasks, while others learn by reading or hearing the material to be learned. I have worked as a helping professional for most of the thirty-plus years since I graduated from Haverford College. A significant portion of my employment experience has involved service to school-age children in their role as students. I currently work as a cognitive rehabilitation therapist with people who have survived traumatic brain injuries.
