After college I taught art for two years at Mount Vernon high school in Illinois. I taught basic art classes as well as junior and senior design classes. I have also taught art for three years at the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis Illinois. I developed and taught the art program for the elementary students.

I have been employed at a number of advertising and sales promotion firms during that time, and I have also been self-employed twice.
