I graduated from Penn State as a music major (piano) and immediately pursued a career in Music Therapy. I practiced as a Masters level board certified music therapist for 14+ years within the psychiatric/behavioral health population, child through adult. These past 2 years I have stayed home with my 2 daughters, now 2 and 3 and am excited to help others again part time and in a different fashion than I have been doing.

My name is Mike and I have been playing the electric bass for 10 years, guitar for 8, and upright bass for 3. I offer beginner to advanced lessons on any of those instruments. I first began giving bass guitar lessons at the age of 16 after playing for only 2 years and advancing at an accelerated pace. I am a professional and perform several times a month with many different ensembles and musicians of various genres. Piano and voice are skills I have acquired through music college and I am also able to teach those two instruments at a beginner/intermediate level. I am still enrolled in college for music and continue to pursue my doctorates in music.
