My teaching style highlights each student's strengths in the particular area in need of tutoring. By doing this, the student gains confidence in the material more and more by knowing that while they may struggle in part in a certain area, there are also multiple areas of strength to focus on to increase academic confidence. Some students need more of an independent approach to learning with the opportunity to verbalize their thought process and questions in a safe environment not always offered in a classroom setting.
