A Little Bit About Me...

I began my study of American Sign Language (ASL) at the tender age of 12, then studied Latin in high school with Mrs. Ellen Conrad. When I reached college, I continued my study of ASL while tutoring friends in Latin. I have studied Arabic and Irish Gaelic at the college level, and dabbled in Spanish, Hawaiian Creole, and various African languages. In addition to learning, I love to teach. I began teaching ASL while I was still a high school student, and continue tutoring friends in ASL and Latin. While attending the University of Pittsburgh I was able to experience my fielf studies and a year student teaching oppportunity at New England Elementary (West Mifflin PA).
