I'm a senior at Wausau East High, I'm graduating in May 2013 and going to the University of Wisconsin Stout. Throughout my education years I've achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher I've never got a 3.5 or higher so I think I'm a decent student. I've helped my siblings in their subjects, I'm better at science though, my second would be math. I like English/Language Arts because, I love to write. Since middle school my math grades have been A,B,or C's never had lower than a C. In my freshman year, I slacked a little but I passed Algebra1 with a C. In junior year, I achieved a B for geometry before moving on to Algebra2. When training employees, my teaching style has always been to learn by doing. I believe that people do best in learning a new task when one explains the task before doing, then shows how to do the task while explaining, and then asks the trainee to do the task with guidance. The same goes for teaching an academic subject - explain how it is done, show a couple of examples while explaining, and then ask them to try with guidance. If this method of teaching is not working for a particular student, I will adapt my teaching to fit his/her needs. I believe that every person has the ability to learn any subject; one just needs to find the method in order to keep them interested and absorbing information.

My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way.
As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I am passionate about chemistry and history, and I always enjoy helping students in these fields.
