After college, I taught preschool for a year. I have always enjoyed working with children but this was my first opportunity to teach. I find that children learn better with a hands-on approach. I tried to make sure that everything I taught the children in my class was taught in an interactive, hands-on way. I allowed the children to work together and even teach each other at times. I feel it is most important to provide children with an environment that they feel comfortable and are able to reach their full potential. A Little Bit About Me...

After my high school education, where I achieved A's in both core and elective math, I began teaching math at the elementary and high school level. I eventually broadened my scope and taught english and science, all part time. I went on to pursue my undergraduate degree and am now pursuing my MBA at Mercer University, Atlanta. I continue to teach as a passion whenever I get the opportunity to.
My style of teaching involves interesting riddles and quizzes at the beginning of each class to prepare students. I also conduct short quizzes on a regular basis to help improve students speed.
