I have a strong desire to help children. Through teaching, I experience joy in displaying my knowledge and wisdom to them in helping them become better people in life. As a mentor and tutor I have a very hands on style of teaching. I challenge my students with the Upward Bound Program to think outside the norms of their traditional boundaries. I encourage a diverse mind frame and point of view for various subject. Most of all I want my students to see their studies in everyday life and understand how each subject applies on a person level.
