My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I exceedingly enjoy creative writing, and have a talent for grading creative writing, a subject that is very difficult to critique. However, I am able to make improvements upon other individual's writings, and have had a fair amount of experience teaching it. Given that I was born in Lebanon, with French influence over the country's educational institution, I grew up learning both French and Arabic at school until I reached college and began broadening my English language skills. I have given many private lessons while at college in French as well as in Math. I have recently tutored my cousin's daughter in numerous school subjects as well. I love languages and I am in the process of learning Russian and possibly later on Chinese. Helping others is something that I have always enjoyed doing. While, I may not have the qualifications stating that I can tutor someone, I do have the ability and do have experience in training people at my previous employment. I think that it takes a lot of patience to be able to train or tutor someone and that is something that I possess. I have been successful in the field of sales and received the Million Dollar Round Table award in 1980. I have raised two sons. One has gone on to higher education and received a degree in Engineering. I wanted to teach Special Education primarily because my oldest son became schizophrenic in his late teen years. I was a substitute teacher in California while getting my undergraduate degree and my first masters degree. I got my Masters of Education in special education: emotionally disturbed students.
