Great with children and love to teach children to love learn

Previous experience includes working with adolescents in a treatment facility. Have created and managed treatment programs for both adults and adolescents. Was responsible for educating, counseling and treating children and families in an outpatient and inpatient facility. Became a stay at home mom of two boys ages 5 and 8 was active in their schools and now that both will be in school, I am looking to help others.

I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I have tutored mathematics as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and other subjects. I have tutored students from a range of ages and I worked with my first student over four years ago while I was in college.
I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.
